Have you ever considered having a contest for the best company video?
This type of project would help bring out the creativity of your employees and it may help you find a rising star out of your group.
As an adjunct professor, I taught a Marketing Course and for one of our classes, I divided the group up into groups and they had to market this particular coffee house and find ways to bring as many students to the place that they could in one evening. Our goal was to bring in a record crowd based on promotional marketing.
On a typical Thursday evening, the normal sales receipts were $500 – $600. On this night with the help of the students, we raised a little over $1,200.
My point here is that Marketing can be a group project. You can work with a nearby college or university, a select number of employees, an outside firm. You have many options. You could make a video, a brochure, a booth at a trade show, a presentation, a social media campaign. The list goes on and on. Think about a way you get your brand name and service out to others and involve other people in the process.
Just a thought!! If someone has a good example, please share.
