Today I came across this very slick tool to help enhance your Linkedin Profile.
On your Linkedin Profile you can add a link and tie it to your current Summary, Current Position or a Past Position. This is really a cool feature that you should be incorporating into your profile.
I added links to a company video and placed this information under my Summary Information to make it stand out more.
In addition, I added a link under my Summary Information to this professional marketing site. The nice part is that Linkedin pulls in an associated graphic to the site. If you keep your site updated, this image will also change. Very Cool!
Notice in the graphic, you have the flexibility to put these links in your Summary or associate them with your work history or school experience.
I see a lot of upside with this little feature and hopefully you will use it too. If you have a Linkedin account, I would invite you to check out my profile, Brent Pohlman | Linkedin and see this feature first-hand. (Make sure you click on the “View Full Profile” Button at the bottom of my profile. You will also have to be logged-in to Linkedin to see this feature.
ADDED – May 17, 2013 Here is a link for all the steps necessary to make this action work.

Hint: If you add the link first and save it, you can go back and move it like the picture above.
