I was going through my old cd’s and I came across the song, “Right Now” and then I remembered it had a really cool video that infused video, music and a message together. As I thought about it more, I realized this is where social media integration is heading. Short messages with video support tied in with an entertaining bit of music.
Who would have foreseen back in the 1990′s that short messages would be the “breaking news” communication it is today on twitter.
Who would have thought videos would play such a big part of business and consume our time, especially our younger generation.
Who would have thought that marketers would be spending time trying to create digital media to connect with others via social networks.
Who would have thought that smart phones and tablets would replace walkmans and cd players
Wouldn’t you say in some respects we are going back to the 80′s and that instead of watching and listening to music videos on television sets, we are watching news and text on smaller, portable screens.
Who knows, maybe instead of MTV we are witnessing a new phenomenon called DNV – Digital News Video.
