If you are like me, you are trying to get noticed on Twitter and create a message that sticks. Over the past few weeks, I have been working on ways to get noticed more. What I am finding is that a good tweet does not necessarily need to be retweeted to be effective. Also, I am seeing a lot of links from my websites to links posted on Twitter. The point here is that my tweets may be mentioned or retweeted, but I may not be seeing them. I am ok with that!
I think people are looking for straight, no-nonsene comments that are easy to follow and point to something of value.
The message to me..spend the time and create some content worth sharing and keep your tweets, posts and other information on social media sites short and to the point. People are in a hurry and are being selective about what they are reading. In addition, they want information that is easy to read and remember.
What do you think about this observation? Do you agree or not?
