Better yet, have you talked to your clients..
I think this has been the biggest learning lesson for me with respect to mobile marketing.
Think about it, how many apps do you have on your smartphone? “How many of those apps are really of value to you?” Besides Google, Email, Weather, News, Maps, Facebook and the other Social Media sites, what apps do you use on a consstent basis?
Now you see why it is critical to talk to your clients and find an app that is simple, easy to use and most important an app that they will use on a regular basis.
First suggestion, come up with some ideas of your own. Think like a client and talk to each other to see if your idea has merit or not.
Next, think simple..really simple. Your site has to be something that people can look at and begin using. If it requires a training guide, it probalby isn’t going to be a very popular app.
Finally, talk to one of your close clients and see if the idea would add value for them.
