If you haven’t figured it out yet, I am all about passion. Yes, I think it is is important to be a “real” person who wants real results. It is about giving clients the type of service they deserve and not some robotic, sheduled information or answers.
It starts by creating a culture where people care and want to be a part of something special. Right now there is so much disinterest and disconection. People are really skeptical about how their work is perceived and if they are really making a difference. As a result, there is a lot of apathy and disconnection. Don’t believe me, check out the people who are constantly texting. From the top down to the bottom, more people are disconnecting from their work.
This topic of disconnection really bothers me and I have tried to read more about what its root causes are and I really do not know the real cause of this issue.
Instead, I have decidided to focus my attention in areas like “passion marketing” where it gets people to care more about the work they do and its real impact on the business and ultimately the clients.
Passion Marketing offers the following
A new direction for a company – I don’t know of another tactic that can be used to change a culture of apathy more quickly than passion marketing. People need to ask themselves if they are adding value in the work that they do. If a person is not adding value, are they really working.
A way to talk to clients which puts the focus on their needs – The only way to successfully serve clients is to focus on their needs and find ways to meet that need. Yes, there is some emotion involved here, but isn’t that the way it should be. People like to know that they are questions are being addressed and resolved. With passion marketing, the goal is to provide solutions that meet the clients’ needs. It is more than just providing straight answers.
It is a contagious attitude – People who work with a passion are more believable because they stand for something. Right now people want to work with people who stand for something. These type of people separate themselves from the rest of the pack.
I came across this topic when I was looking at this company, Krause Advertising – Check out their slider on their company website. This is what passion is all about! Click through the slides and ask yourself, is this what I want for my company? My guess is Yes!
