Are you making similar moves?
Move #1 – Spend more time on Google+
Google+ has more upside for the way I want to interact with people on social media and much better return. I am trying to see if more time spent on Google+ could ultimately mean leaving Facebook at some point. The new, “Communities” are also a great way to gain immediate exposure and interaction with people on a particular topic. Great opportunities here in 2013
Move #2 – Spend a little more time on Pinterest
I don’t plan on going overboard. However, more and more people are accessing these sites from their mobile devices: smartphones and notebooks. Also, I am finding that pictures can be a great lead-in to your own blog site or website.
Move #3 – Spend time uploading more videos on YouTube
I have been a little reluctant to post a number of videos, but I am finding myself and others going to YouTube more and more to search for information that has been recorded and can be viewed. In addition, YouTube is becoming my new library of choice to learn about specific concepts. More companies are going to discover that videos can really help build and communicate a transparent message.
Move #4 – Spend time changing my tune on Facebook
I am talking about Facebook from a company page standpoint. I am going to ask questions more and move away from sharing links. I have learned that people want who are on Facebook, want to stay there. It’s not a good platform to get people to come to your site. This being said, I need to see if developing a dialogue on Facebook is worth the effort and ROI.
Move #5 – Spend time updating my blog sites
It is time to create a better look for my current blog sites which is faster and more reader-friendly. In addition, I want to learn more about the latest WordPress – Headway Themes Templates. The new Headway Themes really help take web design to a new level and help insure current WordPress processes are intact. Again, the change for me is way overdue and I will be updating sites over the next few weeks.
