Use the Rocky Approach for your Marketing

Marketing like RockyI think everyone can relate to the Rocky Theme Song… I especially like this video clip because it brings it all together. You can feel the intensity every time you watch these scenes from Rocky II.

One of my goals in 2013 is to really make a list of projects started and completed.

Reflect for a moment on what accomplishments you had in 2012. Is your list more than 20 items. My guess is that you are struggling to list 10 accomplishments.

Today, I want you to start a list and work toward some short-term and long-term objectives. See what you are really accomplishing.

Where are you spending your time? Are you finding success or not?  If not, make sure you are closing out those projects.

Time is one of your most valuable assets as a marketer.  In this current environment, the environment is changing so fast, but we also have access to some of the best communication technology that we have ever had. Are you maximizing this opportunity or are you watching it speed past you.

Get in the game… Make sure you are doing your training and studying…

Get your systems and channels in order so you are ready for that upcoming show or new product/service release.

Get fired up in 2013 and maximize your time. It really is your most valuable asset.

I purposely wrote this blog as ideas popped into my head.  It is always good to generate ideas.

Now its time to get focused and get some projects started, completed  and implemented. It’s a constant process..

Record your acocmplishments in 2013 and keep a journal so you can see where you are spending your time.

Keep working and just like Rocky keep pushing everyday.
