Today, you will notice that I have updated this website with larger fonts and less stuff on the side.
I think people are starting to focus on the real information, “The Specific Content Message”. After talking to some of my colleagues this year, most of us agree that people are tired of noise and they really do not have time to check out all the information on your site. I believe the mobile media has played a huge role in creating this latest phenomenon. Think about it, when you are on your smartphone, you are constantly surfing through your apps like Twitter, Facebook, Email, Weather, News or Sending a Text Message to someone.
Our information is becoming more “instant” than ever. We want our information fast and we are quickly deciding if there is value in it for ourselves or not.
Because of this latest trend, I intend to not just make my website mobile friendly, but better. Time to get rid of all the clutter on the site and give people a short, concise piece of information that they can take with them that can be read in 30 seconds or less.
There is a place for lots of information on a company website, but you have to get their attention first!
Mobile Friendly is one thing! A clean, easy-to-read website with vital information is another.
