marketing checklistThis is by far the best article I have read regarding marketing trends for 2015. (It is simple, concise and easy to remember)

2015 Small Business Marketing and Branding Trends

This should be your checklist for 2015 –

Yes   |   No        Has your company created a brand that creates an experience for customers?

Yes   |   No        Does your company have an integrated marketing strategy?

Yes   |   No        Does your company have a way to measure its results?

Yes   |   No        Do you have a good understanding of what your prospective clients want? (Understand their real needs – Not cookie cutter mentality)

Yes   |   No        Do you have an internal marketing strategy? Internal communication is often overlooked.

Yes   |   No        Do you have a solid plan for client retention and engagement. Keeping current clients is a life-long process.

Yes   |   No        Have you considered more focus on local SEO? (This is interesting – Shift from national keyword search to local keyword search)

Yes   |   No        Do you have a strategy to upgrade the quality of content with respect to your content marketing strategy? (Are you considering video, better stories and news information)

Yes   |   No        Is your website mobile optimized? If no, you are already behind going into 2015.

This is a great checklist! – It really looks at marketing from a number of different points. I had a similar markeitng 2015 trend article, but this one has a much better checklist.

At this point, I am in the process of refining some of the work we have planned for 2015. Where are you at in your process?

Goal for 2015 – Make things simple and easy!

Overall, the words simple and easy keep coming back to me. I think at times I tend to  make things too complex. If I start with understanding the clients’ needs better and work more toward a simple design and process, I believe I will see more success. The list above is not daunting by any means. It really is quite simple and straightforward. By the end of the year, I hope to revisit and see how successful I was in accomplishing these tasks.

It really is that simple!
